Why Black Women Think the Way They Do

Okay so what's the deal with Black Women today?

The buzz in the street amongst women is that they are soooo educated & successful that no black man meets their standards.

But that's a totally different tune I'm hearing from black men. Black men say the overall mindset of black women is disgustingly dysfunctional; black women don't respect manhood; black women berate 'straight' men and uplift 'gay' men; black women are physically abusive (will jump in your face like a man); and black women just embrace every characteristic of a classic whore.

Okay so why the discrepancy? Well, black women are living behind a veil of deception. The deception of the "Independent Woman" persona.

After living a few decades, I've come to the shocking realization that the "Independent Woman" persona was a lie; she never existed. The Independent Woman was just a caricature created to steer black women away from the true prize in life: peace and the security of a quality man.

And this lie was fed through movies and music of the 1980's and 1990's; and yes it still continues until this very day. Shout out to Nicki Minaj, 'Pills N Potions.'

I just wish more black women would begin to think about why their lives are crappy; instead of just blaming it on black men not being men. It's much deeper than that.

The movies and music of the 80's and 90's set the stage for our issues:

  • Colorism (the hatred dark-skinned women and light-skinned women have for each other)
  • Feminism/Lesbianism (Independent woman; don't need a man; I can do bad all by myself)
  • Hatred for the black man (they ain't no good; they abuse women; deadbeat fathers)

Below I've listed movies and music artists that were influential in molding the dysfunctional lifestyle of today's black woman. If you think about the movie plots and the lyrical nature of the songs, you will begin to see how your uncontrollable emotions, your overwhelming sense of loneliness, your desire for women, your belief that black men ain't no good, and your sex drive all stems from the music and movies you grew up watching and hearing.
